i addressed this in the previous ask.

i honestly think a lot of the hype about sexuality back then was about the -romanticism. very little people acted upon their sexuality, if it were different than heterosexual. so, similiar to the Romantic literature, a lot of forms of love only happened in one’s mind. so… yeah.
