Going to go on a limb here and say that A&P were deffo queer, though, because they weren't the typical pederastic type of relationship (with the whole erastes-eromenos shtick going on); rather, they were of nearly the same age, and neither of them had a wife, nor terminated the relationship. But I don't know much about this, so this is just one person's view on things. And also, Harmodius and Aristogeiton, another (truly pederastic) couple, involved in Athens having democracy, yay!
yes, that says something indeed. the fact that the both of them are capable of being aware of the other’s proposed affection (by that i mean fully developed adult thinking; opposite of pederasty, essentially) and neither of them shouting an ancient version of “no homo” does speak about their relationship.
